I'm too amazed that no one has commented yet to concentrate on dancing, so I'll just do a quick hop, skin & jump!*** All of your portraits are so meticulously rendered. Do you draw from life, pictures or do these lovely people come right out of your head?! The detail is outstanding. Jennifer is one of my favorites. You've created such a playful personality with the dynamic(my fav word) hair which matches her expression so perfectly. Of course, the ears and tattoos are the icing on the cake. I'd love to see her in color. Make her a redhead! Yeah! Sherman Skip Nodler replies: "Colour, Me do colour. Scary thought. I've been working on colouring Kanai. Colour is hard. Maybe with time. I've only been drawing for a year and a half.I draw from photos. Lots are friends but some aren't. I play music at a local Coffee House once a week. I usually have my camera with me and I've asked several complete strangers if I could do their portrait. No one has said no yet. I take liberties with hair, ears and tattoos but I try to keep the face theirs. The reason I ask to do to drawing in the first place is their face."

You've done so well, also, by how you take a realistic person and turn them into something fantastic (ears tattoos, etc.) I love it! Sherman Skip Nodler replies: "Now you understand why I liked the drawing of Eowyn. I did look at the rest of your drawings and I did like them ever so much but Eowyn was my favorite.Skip"

Thankyou for your kind comment on mine, I appreciate it so much, and glad it warmed you up! I thought we were cold here in Washington! But oh my! Your freezing there!! All the more reasons to stay in and draw I suppose.... Sherman Skip Nodler replies: "It is cold. The forcast is for more of the same for the next week. I’ll come look at the rest of your drawings. Good art is a good way to start the day;-) Skip"

Usually, when looking at fantasy, cartoons etc. the features are distorted, even if only slightly, and the eyes have to work to make sense of it all..but not with your pictures. You are just that good! Sherman Skip Nodler replies: "Such a nice comment. Thank you! Most of these Elves I know and I’ve danced with them. I’m Ok at drawing real and then enhancing. I very much envy those who can draw straight from imagination. They are the real artists."
