I don't think the eyes are bad at all, though her left eye seems a little less open than her right eye. But you draw all facial features well. A unique thing about her: if one is to believe Elfwood, in those days women were all young and pretty, and ran around scantily-clad. Sarah here is certainly pretty, but she's clearly older than 21 (don't tell her I said that!), and she actually has clothes on! She looks like a strong character to me... Sherman Skip Nodler replies: "I'm glad Sarah finally got a comment. If Sarah is over 21 it is not by much. Sarah was the 2nd Elven maiden that I drew and I'm very fond of this drawing. I agree about the scantly clad warriors. I can't imagine a warrior travelling across the countryside through the woods in a bikini or a lion cloth. I wouldn't want to walk through the woods that way, if for no other reason than mosquitos. The Celts of Scotland did take off all their cloths before charging into battle but that was immediately before battle. My faeries, I don't bother with clothes. Faeries are magical and I think clothes would just get in the way of wings. Take care, Skip"

You, I think, have master the great challenge on expressing a character' mood and nature just by the face (without any other anatomical element). That's, by the way, is evident in every one of your portraits. You do excellent job drawing faces. And by the way, I'm a bio student, nice to meet a biologist around here Sir! *tipping my hat* Sherman Skip Nodler replies: "Thank you kindly. I try to draw people as lovely and exspressive as they are. I've yet to feel I've succeeded. Often I feel like I've drawn someone else even when it looks just like them.Skip"
