SciFi and Fantasy Art Recordbreaker by Raymond E Gaustadnes

ØSo the other spellcasters always teased Bombar for being a petty spellcaster.
"So what" he mumbled to himself. He'd always been fond of the lesser spells of conjuration and sorcery.
But this time they went too far in teasing him, he set out to prove himself to them, testing his mightiest spells on someone..or something.
The fireball spell missed it's target , but they stopped teasing him after he broke the record for minimum time spent learning the spell called Haste.

This one started out as a sketch for a meaner Beholder. I've already created a beholder drawing some months ago but I wasn't quite satisfyed with the way it came out. And as I went along finishing the beholder, this story about a cartoonish spellcaster popped into my mind. The result You see before You

Spent a day on this one, several layers.
