| 8 Jul 2004 | Ray Valen | Loading...HA! I was going through Trish's stories/poems, seeing if she had yet replied to them. I come to one's comment about making a picture for one. So, I followed the trail back to that artist. From there, I saw a picture by the same title of said poem. And thus, I saw the picture properly, and thus I comment. It's apiffy nifty. And I am glad Trish is happy. I am happy for her. However, let me quote the Fairy Queen person above: "And well done to the artist who wrote the poem" *AHEM* An artist did not write, a writer wrote. Well, Trish does have an Art site, but I doubt YOU knew that, Fairy person. *reads comment* And no, I am not stalking The Bunnily one... Am I? Oh, nearly forgot; the picture is pretty cool too. Meike de Nooy replies: "HEhe.. thanks for dropping in! Glad you like! I loved that poem, and well then I just had to try illustrate it! and I suppose 'artist' is just also jused generally speaking.. you're an artist weather you write, sculpt, draw, perform, they are all arts you know, and if you study any of them they are all backelors of ART " | |

How is it that, wherever I seem to go, I keep finding either comments or links involving Raymond? HE'S EVERYWHERE! Oh well. I'm bored. Just boppin' through your gallery to relieve the boredom. Pooh. Meike de Nooy replies: "Glad to be able to keep you entertained!" | |

| 16 Nov 2004 | Lucy J. S. Wood | Loading...This is amazing! I read this poem before (qhen it was a mod's choice I think) and it really inspired me to draw, but (before I had 'developed' my 'talent') I found it was too much for me, and gave up. But this is great! Much better than my idea for it, but different too. I like the fact that the dragon is the reason the sky's hers no more, I was thinking it was just because she couldn't fly, but this is much better - it has far mor purpose to it. Her I am garbling on about my ideas, but everyone's entitled to be different. Basically what I'm trying to say is, well done, it's a great picture and it really relates to the poem. Kepp it up! | |
| 5 Sep 2005 | Bloodhawk | Loading...Excellent job with the watercolours looks really lovely with the shading and all. Very well done! I love how you've made her skinny too, like she's wasting away, yet lost so deep in her depression that she doesn't care...
Beautiful work. =) | |
