Tag As FavoriteComment		Leila sat, her arms wrapped tightly around her knees her every muscle tensed, in the corner of the shrine. “Relax” she had told her. How on earth was she supposed to relax?! She was so scared! Tears of frustration dripped down her cheeks leaving a small pathway through the silvery paint. Angrily she wiped them away. Crying wasn’t going to help her she thought bitterly. And I don’t want to cry. Whoever it is I’m sharing this night with I couldn’t care less but at least I want to keep my dignity. It couldn’t be long now... All in black ink, mixed with water, am really proud as that was my first try at shading with ink in different hues... The picture you see on the computer is about twice the size of the original so don't look at the lack of detail please!

Tis a very emotive picture, 'specially with having the story before it. The light against the dark really works well, keep up the good work

Oooooh... I always wanted to draw this picture... well, this opose, that is.. I never succeeded though. My legs always get tangled up. Lonely is the word that pops up in my head when I see this...

Oooooooooh~ B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L. i love the shading and different tones. You got talent Giiirl. (i did pell beautiful right didn't i? *studies it closely*~ looks good 2 me)

I'd say there is just about the right amount of shading and texture. The scratchy lines in the shadding add to the tension in the picture, ditto to the dramatic black of the back ground. The simplicity of her face conveys a wealth of emotion with fewer detalis to bog it down. Nice work.
