SciFi and Fantasy Art Looking Down by Meike de Nooy

Well... I write poetry occasionally and once every while I try to draw to a poem, I find that very hard though.. but I try. I'll prolly make another version of this one sometime.. but this is it for now. Enjoy!

Looking down

To touch
what you cannot hold

to feel
that you cannot be cold

To see
that you are blind

to envision
what you cannot find

to hear
that there is no more sound

to find
what you already found

the knowledge
that they are still there

and that you
can never be there again.

8 May 2004	Kit	Loading... Meike, this picture is gorgeous. I'm horrible with positions, and she is amazing. her wings - fabulous. Her face and body - wonderful. A lovley pic! ::appluades:: Meike de Nooy replies: "Hehe.. would you feel better if I told you that the legs of this particular picture didn;t want to be drawn and that I spent km's of eraser on it and finally decided to just leave it like this so people could imagine the legs were behind her I hope so. Poses are just something you need to practice, and if you never attemt it youll never learn it! Good luck!"
