Meike de Nooy replies: "Knots like that just happen. I can't really explain, though I hads made a tutorial, but something went wrong while moderating it.. I really should contact them." | |

| 2 Mar 2004 | Lise Sofie I. Hopland | Loading...I like this version better. I first saw this picture in the celtic -knot tutorial for some time back when that one was new.. I really loved this picture.. how the moon looks and how lucky that girl is to be on the moon. one thing though which I have always wondered.. (not about this picture) about the man on the moon.. where does he go when the moon has disappeared? does he linger there in the space waiting for the new moon? or what? anyway, I'm practicing to draw celtic -knots so I can make a moon like yours.. just for fun though. ( and if i ever manage to do so I wont put it up here..) Keep up with the good art. Meike de Nooy replies: "YAY! 1 more vote for my colourless moon! I still don't know which one I prefer and don't really care! I'll start caring again when I reach the 100th picture in my gallery About the man on the moon... can I be realy down to eart? I think he just sits there for all tine because all that happens is that we don't see the moon because the earth blocks the light fron the sun that lights it up... But at least the little guy doesn't have to hove in the air! Thanks for dropping in!" | |

| 13 Aug 2004 | Jessica L. Stachyra | Loading...Oh goodness, the moment I saw this image in your gallery it all clicked and I must say I was very pleased, for I immediatly recognized you as the author of the FARP Celtic Knotwork article!!! *Gives you much thanks* I must say when I saw your article and realised that an average artist like me CAN actually create knots, I started expirementing with them and have already created a few of my own, rather complex, original knots! But of course nothing quite yet as excelent as this piece, love the uniformness of the lines and the simple beauty of the design, really marvelous! Meike de Nooy replies: "I'm amazed at how many people I seem to have inspired.. I'll go find your knots in a sec! go you!" | |
