Good job making him so emaciated, and ripping the wings, quite convincing. I'm very impressed with this piece, I know how much this much detail requires. Kudos.

:-) Meike de Nooy replies: "emaciated, I had to look that up in the dictionary, but thanks for your compliments! I especially like how the wings turned out, maybe even burned or something... and detail? where? it's A4... I was just glad I made up a background!"

This is beautiful! I'm surprise there is not much comments for this drawing.I love the wing to, and again, the feeling... how do you do this?? There is so much emotions through your drawings and paintings?

:-) Meike de Nooy replies: "Either I draw because I'm boed, or I draw because there are feelings that I need to express.. this was one of the last, so that explains that. And for the little amount of comments, there's not many people seeing this gallery, sci-fi- might have something to do with it!"

Wow, this is a really powerful piece. Great pencil work to show the emotion of it. (maybe he'd be happy if he made friends with those two little animals....)
