A Little Princess

This moment came to me
one day as I was walking
getting farther on my path
each step I took
and I saw the beauty in the world around me
seeing more and more with each and every look

There were flowers
that were shining
full of starlight
and the sky itself
seemed made of song and wings
each heartbeat brought
to me another, greater wonder
and inside myself I was moved by these things

I have been thru a long night
where there were shadows
of each thought that ever passed
along my mind
and I lost the star
that I had wished my wish on
until I thought my dreams
had all been left behind

Then when all seemed gone
I saw a little princess
as she gathered stars
one by one, in her hand
and she sang a tune
that flitted thru my memories
and as I listened
I began to understand

There are dreams beyond our own
that cannot survive
without a light touch
given by a loving hand
and as she sang
she released doves into the heavens
like the waves
that kiss the shores of golden sands

There are moments in our lives
we give our hearts to
unspoken dreams
we long for, each and everyday
and then I felt her
gentle touch upon my spirit
and with her blessing
I went on along my way

My steps were lighter than they had been
for a lifetime
as if I flew on wings
made to dance in the sky
I looked back and saw
that she glowed like an angel
with a twinkle of a star
within her eyes

I understood then
that my wish
had reached the heavens
that my star had come to find
where I had gone
and forever after I am deeply grateful
that she touched me with her light
and with her song

Hewwo me again...I tink sometimes different mods have different ideas of fantasy, some pics are accepted which some people might not think of as fantasy, and others are rejected because that particular mod does not think they are fantasy, thats the problem, tis largely a matter of opinion..
Now onto the pic ^_^
this is luverly, although i must admit part of that reaction is the to poem...But your likkle princess is so sweeet! And the clothes are realistic! Me and clothes (and poses) ust dont go well...

:-) Meike de Nooy replies: "I think I just found out again that mods have different ideas on what it fantasy and what isn't, An really I read all the rules abd was convinced I was okay but they just refused another one... Oh well, shit happens, suffering is optional... And about the picture... I redid it... the entire thing! Cause the acrylics were too thichly applied... I'm giving the other one away though... PFfff, I hate redoing pictures! Thanks for your comment!"

I really like the style here. Or maybe it's your style I like. Oh how confusing! Everyone seems to write poetry for this one... Stars stars little start.. twinkling in my hand... stars stars little start... thank you for leading me to your dreamland... (that last sentence really didn't match, but I've joined the club now and feel happy =]) Great that you can make a picture which inspires everyone. *bobbles away with some stolen stars*

I like the concept, and the message it sends out. Those words could not be truer or more applicable to daily life. ^__^
