SciFi and Fantasy Art Twinkle Twinkle... by Meike de Nooy

I drew this for someone I know, to a poem we made together... I'll ask wheather it's okay if I put the poem up here too.
It was not my intention to have her be a second to the Celtic moon I drew, but they do fit together in a way. She has a story, but I'll leave you to fill it in with your own imagination.

Of Stars and Life

Once there was a little girl
Who sat upon a star.
Looking upon the world below
Her imagination travelling far

Far from home and all alone
She listened to the silence
Embraced the peace that was her own
And wished for some more guidance

But nobody saw, the tears that fell down
And nobody saw, her crying
But tears didn’t come, at least not on her cheek
And she wondered why she was trying

Her heart was an ocean
but all locked inside
And on the inside nobody could see
What she was so desperately trying to hide.

So she sat on her star and looked into space
Letting starlight shining upon her
And she knew while she wiped the tears of her face
That soon life would become better.
