It started of as an elemantal but I let go of that idear half way through... though I still think it's showing the colours you can find in the wind it will probably stay with this picture and I won't make any others... Also I don't think my scanner likes acrylics very much... the colours seam sorta greyish... cruel machine. The little spots are from the rain... my mother had kindly opend my window while it was raining (Grrr) But then maybe I should just tidy up my room more often and don't leave things lying around.

New scanner, new image!!

Ok i'm done.

I like this alot! Nice usage of colors, verry trippy. It wont let your eyes focus on one section of the picture, it forces you to look at the rest of it. I like that. However it also reminds me of those shrink pictures, when they ask 'what do you see?' Yea... any way Keep it up !

:-) Meike de Nooy replies: "Yeah, shrinky *rolls over with laughter* I'm glkad you like it! I was really proud with myself over this one as I hardly ever colour and this one is one of my firts proper painting thingies!"

Whoa, trippy! Reminds me of the seventies, or the disco era. They had the coolest ads at that time. *goes all nostalgic* I wish I'd been born back then... Beautiful painting, all the same 2

:-) Meike de Nooy replies: "Arggh! Disco?! That was not the purpose at all! But hey, can't have it al now can I? And you did say you liked it... Okay, I'll forgive you cause you're such a nice person!"

Conclusion: you are an art academy person. (I have a little art academy obsession, please forgive me for that)

:-) Meike de Nooy replies: "YAY! I',m taking you with me to Utrecht.. they didn't except me there last year and now I'm through to the second round! You coming with me? PLEASE!"

Beautiful colors, it does look like an air elemental! the hair is great.

:-) Meike de Nooy replies: "It was going to be a wind elemental of some sorts... but I like how it turned out, and it can still be don't you think?</a></i>"

~yuck~ I hate brown! I'm sorry, but it's far from your best. It's OK, and I like the hair, but the brown ruins it for me.

:-) Meike de Nooy replies: "I'm sorry the brown ruins it for you but I like it.. If it wasn't there the picture would be way to colourfull and bright! But oh well... each his own taste right?</a></i>"

Oooh...This is sooo cool! The colors remind me of Autumn!

:-) Meike de Nooy replies: "YAY for you commenting on this piece.. it was getting lonesly.. and YAY for autumn, I love autumn 2 It'll have to be an autumn wind from now on!"
