I finished an old sketch a while ago. It began as a practice in drawing a dragon's head side-view, and then I just added a bit more of the body.  It felt too empty without a background, so I threw in one in 5 minutes with photoshop. Not fantastic maybe, but I needed a fourth drawing for my first submission on Elfwood.

This is really cool... I like the fur detail on his elbow!!! Great work.

I really like this one. I, for my part, never come further than the head while drawing a dragon. He looks really relaxed and pleased with his life!

:-) Ingrid Haugland replies: "Thank you. If you eventually feel like drawing a whole dragon, and need some tips and tricks, I would recommend Jessica Peffer’s book "How to draw Fantastic Dragons and Fantasy Creatures". It’s very inspiring 12"

Oh, what a lovely dragon. His face is just beautiful and I like how you’ve managed the forshortening on his left arm. Good job. ^^

The idea for the background looks really nice too, but it feels a bit hasted maybe? Then again, five minutes is only five minutes.

:-) Ingrid Haugland replies: "Thank you very much! And the background was rushed. Very rushed 12"
