You have a good eye for shading and detail. Keep it up.

:-) Nicole Ward replies: "I have an eye for shading I’m told. That may be because I am color blind. You will rarely see a picture of mine colored. I’m very self conscious about coloring my pictures because of this fact."

The way you draw men...wow...I sure wish there was such a man these days....(I mean...all you get now-a-days is a skinny goth-like druggie who believes in incest!) Kidding! Great job on the shading!

I’m very self conscious about coloring and my paintings are often called impressionistic when I was trying to be realistic. I have to farm my pics out if I want them colored."

Wow! I like your style, and all that. Assuming that your art is what it looks like to my inexperienced eye, do you splice pictures of human heads to some of your drawings? That’s what it looks like (either that or you have AMAZING face drawing talent!) and I think that it’s way cool.

:-) Nicole Ward replies: "In actual fact I do my drawings by hand. These are some of my scratch drawings for an illustration job. Some of the poses are awkward because I was trying to get the poses correct. As for splicing. If I have a particular person in mind to base a picture on I take a picture and break it down to basic elements in paintshop pro and then draw it from the basic elements. I’m okay with faces and hands. I try and work on them the most since I have trouble with them in particular."
