15 Nov 2004	Shrub	Loading... Good to see some unique interpretations of the Fellowship, instead of all those movie-influnced works. While I agree with the overmuscled comment, everything else about this picture is just too excellent to whine about it too much. Ognjen Popovic replies: "Well it's half book illustration inspired - from one of the covers of the book. It is obvious by the dwarf whta cover it is because they are very similar. But I didn't want to make the fellowship in the first place"

17 Oct 2005	Diana	Loading... Well the picture is great and it defianetly is unique but I think it fails to capture the spirit of The Lord Of The Rings. They looks more like a group of people who would go outside, fight some orks and then go into a pub and drink until they can't walk straight. I know its a little odd but thats what it looks like to me. On the other hand the shading, anatomy and especially the composition are all really great. Somehow the pictuer looks very livly and not as stiff as many other pictuers do. Ognjen Popovic replies: "Well, I didn't try to catch the spirit of LOTR at all, just it looked so similar to it that I gave it such a label...Anyway, I made this 6-7 yrs ago so there are alot of crappy details, although I must say I like it as a whole scene."
