Tag As FavoriteComment		This is part of a map I drew in '96. It's tea stained paper, pen and ink. I actually used one of those fancy pens with a nib. The Kingdom in the northwest, Trog, is ruled by Viking like humans. Norwar (center north) is the kingdom of some viscious dwarves. Thull on the left, is kinda like medeivil russia, real backwater territory (Inspired by the movie: Alexander Nevsky). Falasti and Thelvia in the middle are the lower and upper caste elves. Barria in the west is despotism ruled by Lord Khorred, a death knight. (inspired by Frank Herbert's Dune). I think you can also see Minotauria which as the name implies is full of minotaurs. You can't tell I game much, huh? haha.

I love maps...and the tea stained paper is a great touch. Have you done any on canvas, perhaps...with color?

I've never seen elfwood people do maps, but it's a great idea and you created them well. So you've read dune? Is the series any good? I've only read a little bit of Dune after seeing the movies.

******I do agree the roads shouldn't be quite so straight. The details are beautiful. I feel like that I would know what to expect when I got there after looking at this map.******

This is really good, only I have to agree that the roads are too straigght. So are the borders. In that kind of age, the borders would follow natural guidelines, like rivers, mountains or forests. Especially Elven borders...
