This character is suppose to be a wandering warrior with sort of a middle eastern look. He'll later on join the wolf hunters pack, and become a valuable allie and friend. I'm short of ideas for a background story, so this will have to do for now. Pencil and photoshop. Made in 2005.

I like this piece, however I have a few crits for it. The face is proportionately constructed but I'm not sure what those marks are between the eyebrows. Are they tattoos or lines depicting wrinkles? I like the armor it looks good especially with the shoulder plates. I think though, that the abdominal section seems to offer a little less protection. Most plate armor has a full breast plate which is usually left larger than the person inside to allow some degree of movement. But at least you left it studded and padded.

12 Christoffer Fredriksson replies: "Ah, yes! Those marks are suppose to be wrinkles, as he is slightly frowning even though it doesn't look that way. However there is a tattoo on the left side of his eye as well. I didn't put much effort in to the face to be honest. It was mostly focused on the armor. I wanted to make a sturdy yet flexible suit of armor for this guy, and so I tried to combine different ideas like studded leather, plated armor, chain mails and so forth. I'm fairly pleased with the result, and thanks for sharing your thoughts! 2"

Wicked pic, I love his eyes, they're awesome! I really like how you make him seem really masculine, basically all my men end up looking very feminin. Heh, his glare is great, looking a bit like a soldier kinda wanting to hit something but knowing he probably shouldn't

7 Christoffer Fredriksson replies: "  Holy cow, five comments! Awesome! Thank you so much. I scanned your gallery once more, and I can agree that your guys look a bit feminine but with your skill you can, without a doubt, add more masculinity. They still look great though, especially the one with the wings. "
