Here's one for you!

Today at school was fun, we have a great english teacher.
We were reading our literature book (Calanish) and in it there was mention of some or other fast bird.
Our teacer askes out of curiosity if anybody knew the bird flew AT A DAMN 300km/h!!!

And then the class turned into 'did you know's about animals.

Did you know, a rhino is 2m high at the shoulder? That's just short of a door.

I on't think mentioning these will be as funny unless you were there...
But here's another:
The blue whale releases 40 litres when mating.

Only one quarter of that makes it into the female.
