WHOOHOOO Oliver Jöhnk replies: "Thank you very much! Though actually I don't know where I get the time from. Unforunately I had this year until now no time for sculpting at all. But I hope this will change soon. And I would love to borrow you some talent, but I don't think that you would need it, having enough yourself. Just remember that nearly everyone is able to do some good work spending an eternity on it. " | |

| 13 Aug 2004 | Andie Harland | Loading...Reminds me somewhat of when I used to play around with Fimo clay... but better by a factor of some number I need to express in scientific notation. I couldn't imagine spending 50 hours on a sculpture! O_o Oliver Jöhnk replies: "Well, not everybody has to be that slow... If you did some sculpting with fimo, just show it! Or even better continue with this work. I'm sure you would do some awesome work and additionally there are only a few things comparable with the feeling to hold on of your characters in your own hands." | |
| 19 Oct 2004 | Tegan L. Elliott | Loading...Wow, thats really good. It's the young half-elf! *giggle* He's so cute! I still like his bracers [if that is what they're called ], and the leather actually looks like leather. his lips may be a little too red though. It makes him look a little girly in my opinion [which doesn't really mean much]. Oliver Jöhnk replies: "I'm glad that you like the result of my drawing, too. You're right with the lips, but that's mainly a matter of this picture or better of the way I took it. Actually his skin is a bit darker and his lips aren't as red. It's mainly a result of the flashlight that they appear like this and with such contrast to the skin. And you're definitely not alone with your opinion. But regarding the fact that there are many grownup elves that look a bit girly and thinking he's still a kid I can live with this. (And many people think I sculpt to few females. Therefore girly looking males might be a bit of a substitute.)" | |
