Ooh, he's here already! I loved the concept drawing, and this guy DID turn out to be quite amazing. The detail that you put into these ... must take you forever! Really great job!

18 Oliver Jöhnk replies: "Thank you very much! It's great that you like this one, even after seeing the concept drawing. And yes, it takes forever, over 50 hours. But it has been worth every single hour. "

There is so much detail on his armour... it seems so real. I must have tooken a long time and a lot of patience, especially when you had to paint it... ugh **shudders** all those little knooks and crannies. Eppers... I'm trailing off subject, very beautiful... oh wait it's a guy... handsome work! ((There we go)) **thumbs up**
(>^.^)>

1 Oliver Jöhnk replies: "Thank you very much! Yes, it had been a bit of effort to finish this one, but I think it was worth every minute and I'm glad that you like him."

This is amazing! There is so much detail and effort you seemed to put into him. I really like the green design on his calves.
I've always wanted to work with clay and express myself in other ways than 2-D art. I may intend to start...

1 Oliver Jöhnk replies: "Thank you! I'm not only glad you like him, but think that it's the best praise for my work if it inspires some people to start sculpting themselves. Therefore please give it a try and don't forget to inform me as soon as you post your works in your gallery!"

Once more, a wonderful sculpture, and I am still in love!!

18 Oliver Jöhnk replies: "Thank you! And at least it will please you to hear that he has no girlfriend..."

Ausdauer besitzt! Boah *staun*
(I don't write a evil word - I swear!!!)

1 Oliver Jöhnk replies: "Thank you very much! Vielen Dank! Ich neige zu einer Art Besessenheit sobald mich eine Idee so richtig gepackt hat. Dann kann ich einfach nicht aufhören immer detailierter zu arbeiten und wenn mich die Einzelheiten manchmal fast in den Wahnsinn treiben. Aber es ist ein unvergleichliches Gefühl eine fertige Figur am Ende in den Händen zu halten. Und das spornt mich dann doch immer wieder an. "

I think I might need Babelfish translator!! I can't read German...
This picture is SUPERB!!!!!!!! Love the detail!!!
=) DUDE!!!

18 Oliver Jöhnk replies: "And I thought the Babelfish translates only spoken languages and doesn't enable you to read. Or am I wrong. Louis was just happy to be able to write in German for she's not that selfconfident regarding her knowledge of English and she said, too, that she loved the details. And I explained ot her that sometimes when I have an idea I get somewhat possessed by it and can't stop working on details even if it drives me crazy. Thank you for your kind comment!"

Wow! This is amazing! The detail is... wow. I have no words. ^_^

3 Oliver Jöhnk replies: "Thank you! I'm glad you like it."

whoa, awesome! you've got a lot of mad work here, but this one screams 'awesome' I'd kill to be able to do this stuff.. well.. maybe not kill, but maim for sure, again.... awesome

12 Oliver Jöhnk replies: "Thank you! Yes, I had to invest some effort to finish this piece. Regarding the ability, just try it. It will cost some time but looking at your art I think it will be the main question if you want to spend this time. Before I started sculpting I would never have guessed that I would be able to make such stuff. But you're right again, it's a bit dangerous for it could make you mad to work on all these details. 12"

Your sculptural work is just amazing...such attention to detail--the armor and weaponry is astounding. Excellent work! 2

13 Oliver Jöhnk replies: "Thank you very much for your kind words. Especially regarding the fact that you're sculpting, too. These Wyverns look great and it's a nice idea to make such skeleton of real bones of other animals. Thank you again for visiting!"

Wow, this is so impressive! Awesome character and amazing details. Wonderful work, love it!

28 Oliver Jöhnk replies: "Thank you very much. I like this character very much, too. Actually his part in my story grew much bigger due to this liking. For the time being I'm working on a picture that includes him, though I'm not sure if I will ever able to finish it..."
