| 30 Jun 2002 | Yvonne Marie Honeyball | Loading...NO! I dont beleive these are your first! they look like they were done by a proffsional! and the mail looks great! I'm glad you put your work up! ~*Y*~ Oliver Jöhnk replies: "If you could see them in real you would see the problems I had to learn how to handle the sculpturing material. Thank you!" | |
| 1 Jul 2002 | O'Neil | Loading...the armory and the swords looks real. I like minimi Oliver Jöhnk replies: "Thanks, the small one, Fen, has been my very first sculpture. Maybe I will do sometimes a guard with such armory." | |
| 5 Aug 2002 | Jaide Jaide@heh...com> | Loading...Doesn't look like Fen hit the genetic jackpot. But his dad looks like Wes from Limp Bizkit. Ok, Ok.. I know.. I shouldn't write comments when I should've been asleep seven hours ago. I keep making typos and having to edit. Too tired to edit. Blah..... But making sculptures isn't about how attractive they are, of course, and you did a terrific job seeing as this was your first one(s). Their armour is clad with accesories and decorations, which I appreciate seeing because it's nice to know some people will take time for even small areas. Perhaps some people see creases on clothes insignificant, but I see it as praiseworthy. Excellent job on these two. Oliver Jöhnk replies: "I admit that even my seven years old nephew told me that the sketch of Fen looked much nicer than the sculpture itself. " | |
| 4 Nov 2002 | Fernando 'Aegiso´Fer' Calabrķ | Loading...AHHH! That was you first work, UNBELIAVABLE!!! I LOVE the detail!!! And the armors are just beautiful! Awesome work!, but i have a little question, it´s Basch Toral ad Sur wearing a helm (i mean, it continues behind it´s neck) or a diadem? Oliver Jöhnk replies: "Thank you! And I don't know how to name it best what Basch-Toral wears on his head. Maybe a sort of crown. Actually it continues behind his head including the pike you see on top behind him." | |
| 20 Dec 2002 | Travis E. Wilson | Loading...WOW!!!!!!!!!!! These design are flippin AUSOME!!!! Oliver Jöhnk replies: "Thanks, I like this design, too. And I'm planning to make a guard from their land with such armour design. Regarding the fact that these two have been my first attempts of sculpting I hope I will be able to make the armour of the guard even better." | |
| 26 Jan 2003 | Christina A. Kniskern | Loading...Your talent never ceases to amaze me. Reading through the previous comments though, maybe you could do a side/back shot of Basch Toral ad Sur to show his unique crown. Also, you mentioned you did a sketch of Fen ad Sur in a reply to my earlier post, maybe if you have the time you could get that up in your gallery? If you still have it that is. Hehe, I should've asked about that sketch soon after your reply (I'm a little slow) hehe. Oliver Jöhnk replies: "I will think about both, the sketch and the back shot of Bash-Toral. The second will surely not come before I get a digital camera into my hands. " | |
