I would be curious to see that; I really like your work. Personally this is the way I saw Sam and Frodo. That’s what interesting in Tolkien: his description allow us to see lot of very rich image. And for all, many interpretation are well suiting and good. I just wanted to had my personal view of those characters."

I'm not sure why and don't take offence, but the face reminds me very much of Fat Albert....It's adorable though Charles-Emmanuel Ouellette replies: "Fat Albert, funny, I didn't tought of it that way! But you do have a point. Hobbit are so nice to draw as they can be very heroic abnd still have these childish, chubby and innocent look. Thanks for the comment!"

I'll have to put up some of my own LOTR art sometime... but it's hard for me to draw Frodo the way I imagine him in the book, I just can't seem to put it down on paper. Oh well, I'll keep trying. Very nice picture, keep it up!!!

So I had to work through many trial and error sketches until I had a better idea of how 'my' Frodo, Sam or Gimli looked like. How was it for you? Your hobbits look like very distinct personalities. Are they the result of a long working process or did they just jump out of your imagination?
