Greffin is a short-tempered, battle loving dwarf from the Wild Boar Company (see pic on my gallery), of which he throne as the number one Ork killer. His armor have being forged by the dwarf of the blue montain. This RPG character is played by my friend Francis Viau, and we sit together to come up with the visual look of the character, mostly his armor.

This is my favourite pic in your gallery. YOu do have a really nice style. i've been thinking about drawing a Dwarf for aeons now but i really cant draw armour. Which for a Dwarf is like....something that really needs something else....

:-) Charles-Emmanuel Ouellette replies: "Glad you like my style and work! As for his armor, I took reference from one pictured in a picture book. I twisted the parts so they fit the physique of the character, yet it really helped to have an idea how this part looked! All the slight details, like the shape of the shoulder piece and location of some bolts, all these little touch are nice to go searching for on reference. It help our drawing and it allow us to learn a lot of things at the same times!</a></i>"

I like the face the best in this picture. He looks like he's about to square off with some one, but if that's true, from a practical point of view, his shield might be of more use in front of him. Although from an artistic perpective, that would really destroy your awesome armour. Then again, a neat shield pattern could be cool too2

:-) Charles-Emmanuel Ouellette replies: "Believe me, Bali, which I «know» since my friend Francis were playing it on a rpg campaign with me, don’t hesitate a lot in font of an enemy, and thus the shield might well fly off in the heat of battle in order to help him giving a good stab! But as you say, it all depends on how we want the drawing to be done. As for this one, I first draw the dwarf facing off with his menacing fist and I then added his shield and axe. That’s the plain reason he is in this position, which in a way could be a very battling one, like he was saying: «come and get me!»"

Your English isn’t that great. Your drawing talent, on the other hand, is absolutely great. Again, an awesome picture.
