	Here Jazzon and his Rock’N Roll band and starship crew. The original Star Trek series, Micronauts and Québec’s yéyé band “Les Classels” (who all wore white suits) inspired me for this one. Rock N’Roll!

Charles-Emmanuel Ouellette replies: "Thanks for the comment; I like to come with flat colours for this retro type of illustration. It keeps and enhances the mood. I came up with a bright, saturated orange background since the character had very pale uniforms. "

That´s truly a great picture, and your style is very unique- I like how you made the combination of sci fi and music themes Also those music cds on the sky are neat, they give the impression of stars, a bit. Charles-Emmanuel Ouellette replies: "Glad you like! I’m a big music fan but have absolutely no sense of rhythm, so basically I listen to music and don’t make any! And so I try to come up with illustrations that underline my interest for music, that capture feel of yé-yé, space age, bachelor pad and garage sounds. As for the discs on the background, I saw them of vinyls; fun to see saw them as cd’s, guess the pic is suitable for both generations! Thanks for the comment and happy holidays!"

Charles-Emmanuel Ouellette replies: "Glad you like! At first I made their white jumpsuit all of different colours but it was too close to the Star Trek original uniforms, and so I made them all white, except for the accessories. And beside, it was hard to come up with a colour for the background with character all being of very different colours, and so the white suits helped me with that. Thanks for the comments, it’s really appreciated! I wouldn’t think it would have been chosen as mod’s choice, but I’m very happy with it! Bring much comment and visibility, and so it help to share and communicate; isn’t what Elfwood is all about?"
