WOW! Really, this is your first computer drawing! It's better than anything I could ever do computer wise! You know what could help you draw better horses/ unicorns/ winged unicorns, is if you got an equine drawing book, I have a couple and they really helped me out in certain areas(like wings and heads, and the back legs, they are the hardest things to draw correctly, lol) hope this can help you and your drawings out!

Dude, that is so much better than any computer drawing I have ever done. The shading is wonderful! A very good start. I am not good at constuctive criticism, but I will try... Yeah, how-to-draw books help alot. Thats where I started. And looking at what you want to draw and breaking it down into a number of simple shapes like circles and rectangles. For example: A horse head is one big oval, another small oval a tiny ways away and two lines conecting them... >_< This works so much better when you can see it, I promise.
