	I made this pic for a friend of mine. She requested two pictures; A fantasyfilled picture and one with a girl wearing a really beautifull dress. I stil didn't finish the dresspic.. But this one pleased her very much. IT pleased me as well. It pleased me to much. I didn't want to give it to her, but eventually I did give it.. And now the only thing I'm thinking of is: 'stupid me, stupid me,....'

3 Feb 2003	Amanda Anderson	Loading... Very enchanting indeed. I really like the mermaids, they cling to me... Don't know why though... Irene L Lolan replies: "Thanks Amanda.. The mermaids were the first in the picture. To be honest the mermaid holding the shell was the first thing on the background. I didn't plan the layout at all. I started to draw the mermaids and soon the other creatures found their way out of my brain and found their way on the paper.. perhaps that's why? The mermaids were first?"

5 Aug 2003	Ruthie	Loading... WHAT'S BEHIND THE CURTAIN!!! (sorry, i just have to know) BTW, I feel your pain about giving away a favorite piece. I painted an amazing picture for a guy I really liked once, the best I've ever done, for his graduation. And he started dating another girl a week later. Grrr... Irene L Lolan replies: "That's really not very nice of him! I would go and ask it back, but I gave it to a friend of mine and I still see her all the time so..And about the curtain.. That's for me to know and for you to find out..Oh, wait you asked me ^~^ Wel, It's the opening to the next fairieworl, I guess.."

I'm stunned by this great work of shading and balance, everything is tied in, everything accentuates each other, it's really one admirable piece of art. Irene L Lolan replies: "Wow..
