| 28 Dec 2001 | Not an artist~ | Loading...Listen, this is a very nice piece. I allways find it strange when females say that a picture of a female has absurd proportions. (*especially when I know a few who have even more "unusual" Natural bodies.) so many women seem easily intimidated BY THE LOOKS OF OTHER WOMEN, well it's just wierd. I am glad that people are concerned with how they look. I am not glad when I see people freak out, and get all paranoid-over a casual glance. it's my opinion that more men should take greater care of their bodies and actually try to have a fashion sense. (*please, don't go to a wedding, wearing a flannel shirt, jeans and a six pack.) I am mildly dissapointed by one thing. the reality of needed clothing for females in fantasy art.
no woman strolled arround in a thong and a couple of bitts of leather, it's absurd. where there atractive women in history? yes. where there heroic women in history? yes. where they all walking arround restricted to a hooters waitress uniform? most certainly not.
all the above is my opinion, thank you for your time and consideration.

This one seems to have walked straight out of an american comic and looks stunning! No critisisms, only praise, great colouring too.
| 2 Mar 2002 | Chantal Noordeloos Peeters | Loading...A comment to the person calling themselves not an artist. I am a female myself and I love to draw women in skimpy outfits. I respect your opinion, but remember this is fantasy, where everything and everyone is overexaggerated also in beauty. Men where platemail armor to make them look big en though in fantasy that a real knight would find extremely unhandy to wear, there are weapons that are silly and weird. As an artist, drawing form is great. A female form has the most fun and interesting curves (in my opinion) to draw. Giving the female tight and revealing cloting, gives an artist the chance to play with those forms, rather than to cover them up. Fantasy art is also something that comes from the imagination, and I know in my imagination the characters walk around in revealing clothes and nice curves and they are tough enough to handle it and not be intimidated. If that does not fit your picture of fantasy, fair enough, but remember fantasy is a very personal thing. | |

| 20 Apr 2002 | Mysterious Black Hooded Mystress | Loading...Well all in all, this is a really good pic. There is only one problem with it. Her left leg, or my right leg, right at her knee it goes way to skinny, it makes her look like she has a really bad knee, and joint problem. Oh well | |
