Paul is an experienced artist, mainly fantasy and sci-fi, who has in the past been published in manga/anime magazines and has done concept artwork for Wizards of the Coast and Gamesworkshop.

Hey wazzap peeps? Here ya go, welcome to my happy happy joy joy fantasy gallery!

So if yer bored, wander on in, chummers, and have a look around.

Hmmm... I 'paint' whatever takes my fancy, but mostly bad-ass chicks and other character portraits, that kinda jazz. My medium (though I'm skilled with many types) is pencils, then inked over, and finally scanned into Photoshop to be coloured. I do it for the hell of it really!! My influences are:

  • Masamune Shirow (Ghost In The Shell. and other manga)
  • Boris Vallejo (uhm.. well duh)
  • H.R. Geiger (pronounced Geee-ger)
  • Paul Bonner (check the front cover of the Shadowrun RPG 3rd Ed.)
  • Wayne Reynolds (the bw art in the D&D 3E Fighters book -- I know this guy too)
  • Simon Bisley (used to do stuff like Judge Dread and the Slaine saga)
  • Kevin Walker (some of the paintings in the new D&D books)
  • Gerald BROM (damn I love this guy!)

News&Updates (11/05/01)

  • Recently purchased a Wacom graphics tablet and so far I'm a happy bunny :)
  • Being a recent .com washout (layoff), I'm now on a one month holiday (3 weeks left), with full pay.
    So, plenty of time for new work!!
  • Sad news people, I'm being hired as a freelance artist for a new company working on D20 products, so I'll have to leave Elfwood soon, as I'll once again be a professional!! I'm currently working on a personal gallery space, and when I'm done, I'll put the link here...

Your works are really amazing. The way you draw the details of clothing, and the muscules, the poses, the facial expressions, etc. They are so real! Although it's sad to see you draw mostly characters without background. I tend to do that too, untill a friend told me a good drawing will not be complete without a background. I would like to see your characters with a background, make it more life-like. But neverthless, they are simply amazing.
