| 20 Feb 2003 | Eline 'Ellende' Spek | Loading...This one is _so_ great And even better IRL... amazing amount of detail and movement! You should do more of these! Martin 'Paysdoc' Koster replies: "True, it IS better in real life - one day when I have a decent camera (and whenI know how to use it) I'll make a better pic." | |
| 21 Feb 2003 | Chantal Noordeloos Peeters | Loading...The picture does not do this statuette justice. I have seen it for real and it is so beautiful!!! The realistic proportion and detail just blow me away. Everytime I come to your house I find my self ogling it Martin 'Paysdoc' Koster replies: "Too true - I had made about 15 photographs of this one and this was the only one that didn't come out blurry...can someone teach me how to use a camera?" | |
| 23 Feb 2003 | Tamara A. Havik | Loading...Wow! if the real thing is even better... I really like the motion that's in this statue. Is it made with fimo? I see you used wood with the statue, or am I mistaken? It's always nice to use natural material with statues like this. Are you going to make more? Martin 'Paysdoc' Koster replies: " Thanks! after all these wonderful comments, how can I NOT make more? In fact I've got one more clay unicorn in my cabinet, but the photographs came out horribly, so 'll post it some other time. The wood in the figure isn't what it seems: it's also made of FIMO (but don't worry you're not the only one who got that wrong...) " | |
| 27 Feb 2003 | Jorieke JoSav Savelkouls | Loading...Oh my. I would just LOVE to see this one in real life. Such a vivid statue!! Martin 'Paysdoc' Koster replies: "You're welcome to view it!After all, the entrance fee isn't too high: just gimme the recipe for your muffins " | |
| 18 Apr 2003 | Sarah Tomesky | Loading...The face along with the rest is so incredible...wow! Martin 'Paysdoc' Koster replies: "Okay, I must admit that I painted on the face.Helga's face is pure fimo - and I don't like it" | |
| 25 Apr 2003 | Amy Williams | Loading...At last! Time to study your work as you have so graciously mine... It's not often that you find sculpture in these Woods, and to find some is always a pleasant diversion. I like the background you created for her, a history to set her in motion. So, once she was human and now a centaur... I think she's beautiful now, wild in her equine grace. Wonderfully imagined; I can sense your role playing blood. As ever, -Amy Martin 'Paysdoc' Koster replies: "Thank you! The background actually comes from a role-playing session a while ago. The story is thus not originally from me" | |
| 11 Dec 2003 | Jennifer M. Chasteen | Loading...Soo cool!!! What an awesome pose!! And I love that you gave her a suitable setting! Martin 'Paysdoc' Koster replies: " I was quite surprised at how many cool places there are to be discovered in our tiny garden once you go exploring... Anyway, thanks for dropping by " | |
