What happens when you and your evil brother are equal in magical strength. Fireballs... lightning... nothing will turn the tide. Well, this wizard has the ultimate counter spell, and his evil brother is quite surprised to see it.

This is FABULOUS! Very refreshing in these parts. 1 His expression is priceless! I laughed so hard when I first saw this, then even harder when I read your caption beneath it. I have one question, though: what medium did you use for this? I’m thinking possibly pastels?

It’s hard to add much to all the great comments alreayd made, but I’d like to say that it was interesting to see how you developed this idea from the sketches posted in your gallery; after trying various things - you really did get it ’spot-on’!

I bought a print of this at Dragon Con this past weekend. An excellent tribute to the battle between Avatar and BlackWolf. It took me a moment to recognize that that was BlackWolf reflected in the pistol front and not magical carvings. I love the mixing of the Orthanc as background with the battle of the old old wizards in Wizards. Good luck and I hope you win many commisions because of this.
