A lone building stands atop a hill overlooking a small village. While the villagers may be simple folk, the robed figures that enter this library are among the wisest of all those in the land. However, their wisdom is matched only by their dark natures, learning and perfecting those arts and rituals forbidden by law. If only the villagers could read ancient runes, for the inscription upon this edifice clearly states that this is 'The Library of the Dark Arts.' Until then, they will continue with their lives, unaware of the dangers looming over them.

In all of your work... your shadows are the substance of your picture... which really goes to show just how much art is a matter of illusion creating the real objects..hehe.... beautiful

I think my heart stopped when I saw this. This looks so much like the house I have imagined in my novel. Even your description is rather relevant. The only thing missing is the overgrowth of ivy. I am somewhat of an artist, myself, though I focus mainly on human and human-like anatomy. I have never tried my hand in architecture. Perhaps I should. I think you have just inspired me. Thank-you so much for sharing! And again, beautiful.
