''Precious, precious, precious!' Gollum cried. 'My Precious! O my Precious!' And with that, even as his eyes were lifted up to gloat on his prize, he stepped too far, toppled, wavered for a moment on the brink, and then with a shreik he fell. Out of the depths came his last wail 'Precious,' and he was gone.'

I like very much how they depicted this scene in the movie, and I'm not going to rave about Gollum, because everyone else already has. I don't think my drawing came accross exactly how I wanted, but it's alright. I felt obliged to splatter blood on his face from the whole 'finger incident.' Colored pencils. It really grosses me out now...

Personally I thought Gollum bouncing around on an invisible Frodo's back like a cowboy was silly looking, but as soon as that finger came off it was freaking awesome... Frodo looks particularly hot when he's ticked off and angsty and creepy. cough ANyway! I just wanted to say I like how you use your media. Mine always turn out so soft. Your pics have a sketchy quality that I admire. Ciao.
