Most people when they think Fantasy, they always think, mighty warriors battling, heroines with long swords, goblins attacking, wizards fighting with magic, you know... Did you ever wandered what fantasy-world creatures do, when they are not having adventures ? Thatīs the idea behind this drawing. In fact this is going to be the idea behind many of my drawings from now on, as i find it particulary more fascinating to create a world like our own in essence but with strange creatures in it instead of just humans. And they donīt have to be always fighting dragons and killing each other. Thereīs enough idiots like that in our world. So this drawing represents an end of a day somewhere, and the idea behind was that the kids were out playing all day, and their father came to get them to go home and have their supper. Simple uhm ?... :-)

I really like the idea of 'everyday fantasy.' ^_^ I must say, however, that the first impression I got from your picture, w/o reading the description, was that there was an attack and the ppl were fleeing. I think the whole reason I saw this was that the light near the top reminded me of an explosion and the ppl's eyes look very wide, so I saw them as being frightened. Anyway, I love your style, keep up the great work! 2

This is wonderful and very creative. I'm wondering, what are the lights in the background? I reheally like the background in this picture as well.

This is so intreguing. All the details must have stories behind them. What a huge imagination and deep creativity! Amazing gallery!
