Well, i did this because i wanted to try some blue shades of color with it, and i wanted to experiment with 'my new' technic in drawing. Im still searching for the best and fastest way of creating a good detailed picture, and so this time i decided to draw in water-proof ink, color it with prismacolor pencils and then splash everything with a watered brush. Then when it was dry, apply the details and small brights with guache and more dry pencil work. The sky was painted with acrylics, letting the area of the moons with the original white of the paper. I particulary enjoy the atmosphere in this one, because it turned out exactly as i dreamed it, except for the stars. Unfortunely the scanner doesn´t like blues very much and so it was hell to scan this. Anyway some of the details are lost, but the magic is still there.

Oh, I FINALLY found this again! I once stumbled over this piece of your art by mistake, but now I'm going to bookmark it so I can come back whenever I feel like I need a dose of mystery night-time feelings. ^_^

Like the previous picture 'moonlit night by the sea', I love this picture - more so now, because of the fantastic details depicted in the city. The dragon in the bacground really reminds me of a Yoshitaka Amano picture for Final Fantasy 5. In other words, your art and style are that good. And the way you have the dragon shrouding the moon is very effective.
You have such a great concept of placement in all your pictures. Everything seems to fit in so perfectly. After looking for it at well, you'll notice new little details every time. This is truly worthy to be a Mod's Choice picture.

The blues and yellows deff ring of vincents starry starry night. I almost agreed with the yellow bugs ruining it, but looking more at them really they flow with the rest of the mood and certainly the magic of the piece. I dont know if this criticism is due to your scanner (i know hoe they like to wreck drawings) but the stars in the sky look bad. I think its cause there are all in uniform clumps instead of being randomly scattered across the sky.

This is gorgeous! I love the different blues, and those bees are just so sweet. Why aren't we seeing your lovely illustrations in all kinds of books? Everyone needs to see them!

This is great, you represented the "magic" here...The colors you picked, the lights, the dragon eclipsing the moon and the funny characters...all is perfect, and very inspiring too, congratulations=)
