I did this one because i wanted to try to create a very detailed landscape but using no detailed details in it. This might be confusing but if you look at the drawing you will see that the details are nothing more than simple shapes placed in the right places instead of elaborated drawings. Many people ask me how to create detailed landscapes, and so i decided to do this one as an example that you donīt need even to draw good to be able to create nice landscapes. Just do lots of basic shapes and learn where to place them. Then use color to call the viewers eye into the areas of the pic you want to show best, while making them not look at your mistakes usualy placed in the dark. Got it ? Ok then. Watercolor, color pencils, acrylics and black ink.

This is neat! Very original, but how does one get to the lonely little house at the edge of the waterfall without plunging over!?

So much created by suggestion - it's good to see new LFdRP stuffs again - but you know i love your worlds - and those sea caves that inspired them i'll probably never see except in your picturs of them that you had up on your old site ... ~12

My favorite! Love the flatness of the city buildings, dramatic contrasts in the sky and above all the poetry of the scenery...I wish I had your patience!

You wanted to make a detailed landscape, and you very much did it. Very atmospheric and wonderfully dark. You almost get the feeling like you want to be there!
Great work.

This is so pretty! At least the prettiest town I've ever seen. Love your use of colours.

Waaaooo! I like this picture so much!! it seems so mysterious, it must be wonderful living there. The combination of colours is also beautiful. Iīd love to be the lady handing a candle, the one on the left 2

Your experiment worked beautifully. Somehow though, I don’t think I’d be able to repeat it. Too much talent involved.
