SciFi and Fantasy Art Sounds of Enchantment by Luis Filipe dos Reis Peres

This is an historical moment for me. This is my very first acrylic picture ever ! Until now i´ve only used ballpoint pen or pencils for my landscapes, because i´ve allways been afraid of trying to paint with brushes . I don´t know why, but i thought that would be almost impossible for me, because i had to learn everything from scratch. Maybe i was too lazy instead of a coward. But i´ve received so many e-mails from people who strongly sugested that i should loose my fear of wet paints , that one month ago , i went crazy, and i spent a fortune buying acrylics , paper and brushes. And this is my first atempt on doing something with it. This was done very small, in an half A4 canvas, because i thought i should beggin with something simple. I´m drawing a map of 'my' Thorondor World , and this is the 1rst of my new pics, that represent a geographic area in it. I had this idea when i made the Magic Valley pic 10 years ago, but back then i wasn´t drawing fast enought to be abble to make something like i´m planning to do now. This represents a small castle somewhere inside Thorondor, where all music is born.
