SciFi and Fantasy Art Waiting for the dawn by Luis Filipe dos Reis Peres

This was a sketch i had around here, for about two or three months, but i was never sure on how to paint it untill this Xmas, when the Bethlem star came to my mind. So i decided to use a comet like a symbolic star. This is about a story that i have, where one of the last remaining faeries on the world contemplates her future on a lonely moment, because her world is about to be changed by the arrival of the new christian religion. So i decided to place her between two things that would be references on that new religion wich was going to change her way of life forever. In the end it turned out quite better than i was expecting it. Even the scan was good. This is one of my favorite new pics, because it´s very simple, and it gave me much pleasure to create it.
