"Guardsman" by Perrie Nicholas Smith

This is a mock up comic cover i've been working on. Its a collaboration between my brother and me. Its been in the works for a while. My brother (Thomas Smith) came up with some ideas for a comic and asked me to draw his characters for him starting with Guardsman. He created the story and the characters (basically all the written work).

I redesigned Guardsman's look from some sketches he gave me then got to work with this. So in the future there maybe some pages up on here who knows. He has a story arc for us to work on and i'm pretty psyched to illustrate his ideas. I have permission from him to post it here on elfwood, its the only place on the net i have and will....for now maybe. Hope you enjoy it! Feedback will be very much appreciated.

I can't give any of the story away thus far but i'll check in with my brother and update this if he wants some posted. I can tell you its set in Britain.

I sketched this image then inked it. All coloured in photoshop. Text was done in illustrator.
