| 30 Apr 2008 | Maya "Alatar" Hoole | Loading...wow pez, this is absolutley amazing... I dont no what to say. I love the monochrome colour scheme, it works really well, the anatomy is perfect, even though its non-sensical it still works, proportions and everything. The scale reference brings the whole thing to life, making it seem so much more realistic.
Tritonteus... you really have an imagination beyond the best. I love it, its like something out of an old palaeontology book, the sepia pages like the old worn pages of an ancient book. Just...wow... seriously, wow.... thanks for the update, and wow...

Perrie Nicholas Smith replies: "Everything you wrote was exactly what i was going for. Thanks for giving it a good viewing, the shading took ages! The name isn’t really mine. Its from Greek mythology. Triton was one of Poseidons sons and i just took that name and added ’teus ’ on the end of it. Triton also inspired this picture because it is said that Triton had a mans body and a dolphins tail and was quite mishappened. After reading the story of Triton it gave me the idea for this picture. Also the film ’The Mist’ gave me some inspiration. Thanks for the nice comment" | |
