(EDIT 02/01/2010) I've moved some of my older pictures and pictures i'm not too fond of anymore into the 'Other Works' tab. Its also because i showed my little brother some pictures and kids are very honest ha.

 

I'm quite lost at the moment. I need some direction  with my art, some help maybe. I feel i don't have a style. I need to focus everything i've learned into a certain way i'm comfortable with so i can work on it - i'm kind of all over the place. I think i'm going to be working on more comic book style work for the moment.

 

(EDIT 02/01/2010) I've got some direction back now and i'm moving into some very different territory. I hope to have some strange new stuff uploaded soon.

Elfwood Influences are mainly all the people on my favorite list but mostly Derek 'Hendercrazy' Henderson his work is really inspiring

Interests
I like to rock climb although since i have moved i haven't really been, i really miss it. I also like to play guitar although i'm not very good. I like writing stories, poetry and attempting to create animations. Currently learning to play the piano.
Favorite Fantasy/Scifi Movies and TV Shows
Hyperdrive! Awesome sci-fi series with none other than Mr. Nicholas John Frost. LOTR is an obvious one, both books and movies. Not really a big reader tho. Guyver is an awesome series.
Favorite Fantasy/Scifi Books
Well guess i am a big reader if you count comics.. I have every Spawn issue of the original series, i love Spawn. 2000 AD, Heavy Metal, Alien vs Predator vs Terminator, The Crow and Watchmen! Best comic ever
Favorite Music
Hmm music. I like alot of different types of music, i collect it. I can definitely see the comic book influence in your art. 1 Glad to see that you’re trying various things to create different effects (traditional and digital) with your work. I especially like the Sabernieth pic and those character sheets of varied monsters. 2 Keep practicing and trying new art tools like you have been and you’ll notice continued improvement. Also keep expanding on your artistic vision and knowledge as well as visual references... these are all important parts to taking your art to new levels. - Derek

I’m trying to bring that comic book style through more and more. That Sabernieth picture is quite old and i was considering taking it down, but seeing as people are still enjoying it i think i’ll leave it up. Thanks for the advice i’ll do the best with it that i can. Cheers."
