| 19 Sep 2002 | Elise 'ally' Beeckman | Hey hey, I like your style. Great job on the armour in your gallery. My favorite= the dragonhead. Peter M. Dodge replies: "Seems to be quite a few people's favorites ... that might change when I post my deep dwarf! *checks ticket status for the 100th time today*" | |
| 5 Nov 2002 | Cecilia Petersson | Really luv your shading and your way of drawing armor. One advice I could give you is that you could draw legs longer - in fact, too long legs is preferable. =) Peter M. Dodge replies: "Heh. I suppose I've been experimenting with that. It shows that I cut my teeth drawing dwarves, doesn't it?" | |
| 22 Nov 2002 | John M. O'Connor | Hello! Pretty good gallery, I like the color dwarf especially. Post more! Peter M. Dodge replies: "Thanks for the kind words! I'm a little held over right now colouring those pics of yours I wanted to colour. But there'll be stuff up here as soon as I have something to post!" | |
| 30 Dec 2002 | Candace A. Tupper | Very nice work. Might I sugest you make your characters legs a little longer! But, other than that, some very nice stuff. Like that dragon head. Very nice! Peter M. Dodge replies: "It seems the dragon head is a favorite of many ^_^ The leg thing is something I'm trying to solve ... ^_^" | |
| 2 Feb 2003 | Michelle E. Mayo | Hmm, well I have to agree with everyone else, your armor is all very well done, and is so rich with details. Eeee~ I love lots of little deatils! Lots of variety in the armor too, from plates to those tiny scales. Nicely done! The dragon is my favorite, but I'm a little biased toward big, mean-looking lizards. ^__^ You might look around on-line for some anatomy tutorials, or maybe just get one from the book mega-plex (they can't just sell books anymore, can they?). That'll help take care of the short-legs syndrome! Something visual is usually best for artists, I've always found that lots of discussion and dissetion doesn't help as much as actually seeing the measurements drawn out. Thanks for dropping by my gallery! ~Michelle Mayo Peter M. Dodge replies: "I'm certainly working on the anatomy, and forcing myself onto the habit of using other sources than my imagination ^_^Thanks for coming by, and don't be afraid to come back! I don't bite - much! ^_~" | |
| 3 Apr 2003 | Prince akalon | Pretty cool. Love the Dwarf. And monotone black and white beats colour any day. Peter M. Dodge replies: "Thanks for dropping by. BTW people, feel free to comment on individual pictures, especially the ones with the red borders - those are the new ones!" | |
| 17 Apr 2003 | Michelle E. Mayo | *pokes* Hey you...it's doooooone! ^_^
*runs off giggling maniacally* | |
| 23 Apr 2003 | Iya Panlilio | Very nice gallery. Your dragon sure is something.. the shading's awesome, and the details! Elvenblood's great inspiration, no? Peter M. Dodge replies: "Everyone seems to like the dragon ... I ought to give it a colour run like I did the dwarf and see how it comes out ^_^" | |
| 14 May 2003 | Jessica 'Vestaka' Douglas | Hey there, nice work on the armor and shading.... your figures are a little stumpy, but that's okay. Just wish there were colored pieces (don't mind me, I'm a color junkie *grin*) Peter M. Dodge replies: "I'm definetly experimenting in the new and wonderful world of colour more and more these days, as evidenced by the first crop of new pictures I've put up recently. Now if only I didn't have to wait for the ticket lock I can put up some more colour pics (delayed comment reply, I know)" | |
| 13 Mar 2004 | Iandiaz | Hey Peter!! Nice drawings mate! You have a very cool style going! keep up the good work!! Peter M. Dodge replies: "Thanks for dropping by! Feel free to comment on any of my individual pics, as I try a variety of different techniques and it certainly helps to have some input on what works and what doesn't Don't be a stranger now!" | |
