One of my best pics to date. It was going to be a Woodworks cover, but, alas, the dimensions were changed and this will no longer work. (thats what i get for not going to the meetings -.-) So, I get to put it up here for ya'll to see in its smokey gloriousness. I did not use a reference for the horse, and it is most definately awkward looking. I cant figure out why...... I think his head is too big and his body is too short (even though i tried to do a perspectivey thing) and his back legs are funky. But I still very much adore this pic. Drawn as a sketch, cleaned up in photoshop, and the sketch was colored via photoshop. Comments?

Over all I think this picture is great, i think the problem is that the head is a bit to short, horses heads are actually quite long. The back could be a bit longer to. But it's beautiful the way it is.

Hey I love the picture. Unicorns and Dragons are the best thing that comes out of the fanasy world. How did you do that? anyway I'm trying to be an artist myself and I think you beat me on this one 2

The image is really beautiful. I like the perspective of the dragon. And the unicorn looks pretty good for something done without reference.

Aaah!
Crazy, the dragon looks like he's MOVING!!!
Well, I'm a bit tired, but....it really looks like he's moving his head!

Your unicorn looks great, and the only thing I see that doesn't look right is the leg! It's elbow is nonexistant. It's legs and head look good! ^.^

Dejavu... I feel like I've seen this somewhere before, maybe I have!

wow thats cool. But I think what your problem is is that the cheekbones are too large and the head too short, and the legs are just a bit thick.

also a problem with the dragon.it is breathing and laughing at me.

but it is also very late.
