Welcome to the woods! You've got some decent line drawings here, and your animals are really cute. Thanks! I'm glad I was able to join this community. Of my drawings at the momemnt, I like Falma the best...and Flamgra sooo needs work. lol

Welcome to the woods Jenn, I really like your characters, they remind me of the kind of stuff they have in Pokemon, though I don't watch it.. lol, anyhow, post more!

:-) Jenn 'Dreamless Serena' Rhodes replies: "Hehe, thanks Erin! Actually, when I was making a list of the elements I would use, I went back to my Pokemon cards and books. lol But none of my creatures will hopefully not look like the Pokemon, and they're not really based on them.. just kind of the same concept, ya know?"

Well I am learning to teach highschool art, Take some classes at school if you can. if you cant go to your schools art teacher and ask for some extra work on the side maybe that he or she can give you and maybe give you ideas of what to do> I know When I was self teaching myself to draw, I would sit down with a magazine and draw whatever it was I saw that intrested me in those...OR get a comic and try sight drawing stuff in it. GET a apple fruit and draw it paint it, pencil it use colored pencils..NEver stop just keep going and going PRACTICE makes perfect! I must say Disney artist draw a character anywhere from 70 to 150 times a day...I am sure we can crank out 5 a week....
hehehe

Ijust keep a pad of paper with me and draw when I am bored or have to wait somewhere... 2

:-) Jenn 'Dreamless Serena' Rhodes replies: "The problem with that, is that I don't go to school anymore. I'd still have to pay rent if I only sign up for one college class, so I'm not doing it. I like to have free time... I do try and practice everyday, though. Not that you can tell. ^.^;"
