Thanks for the encouragement Louise. You are right about that an inspiring idea is an inspiring idea and it is not going to go away.
The main goal was to illustrate Aldarian’s terror, fear and exhaust and I am glad that you liked the outcome. Background was (like you said) left unsharp and "unfinished" so that the feeling of chaos would radiate from it. But I must admit that I could have had "polished" it a bit more.

I thought you would like the armour.
One big goal in this was to practice those armor decorations. Aldarians helm? As you quessed she had lost it earlier in the battle. And what comes to her hair... Well, in reality I think that even female warriors would cut their hair short. Long hair do not belong to battlefield (or under helmet). But Aldarian just had to keep her prided braids so her helmet was modified for those.
