...and then the defences were broken. No more were there any front lines, no more coherent defences . No it was not even a retreat anymore but a frantic and chaotic stampede and slaughter were every figure in your way was obstacle to be strike down, be it friend or a foe. And Aldarian too stumbled in the mids of the worst chaos. Blood running from the wound over her left eye, blinding it and mix of sweat and blood making also her right eye almost useless. She knew that this was the end. She knew that her men were dying around her, that the orc hordes would now be free to pillage, kill and burn. All this she knew but the only thing which she could clearly though at that moment was;
"I have to see! I have to see!..."

Again a picture from my own Middle-Earth related fantasy story. This time illustrating the battle which would change Aldarian's life forever. (Yea, I know that I promised to stop drawing her but...)
