And Dorlim embraced Aldarian, threw his arms around her and gently pet her hair, whispering tender, comforting words to her ears. And Aldarian poured out all her pain, despair and crushed hopes to him. Crying like a small child, which she almost was compared to Dorlims age. Sad and pitifull sight it was, especially knowing how proud and brave she was.

This caption is from my own fantasy story which was located in Middle Earth. Aldarian and Dorlim were the two main charachters of the story. During the story Aldarian was seriously wounded and although she was saved to life in Rivendell, she was permanently injured for the rest of her life. To her this was 'worst than death' because she was proud and ambitious and dreamed for fame and glory. In the picture she has just realized how badly she was injured.

Aldarian and Dorlim are my creations. Middle Earth is created by J.R.R.Tolkien.

The way she is crying......It looks so real....I always draw something like this.......something that reaches out and taps ones emotions. awesome work man! 1

:-) Panu Hakkarainen replies: "Thank you. When I drawed this I really wanted to bring forth the utter despair of Aldarian and the fact that she, who is usually proud, strong and reserved, is crying without restraint. I am glad that I could achieve that in my picture."

Thank you for commenting and giving positive feedback. I am glad that the picture made such an effect to you because it was what I really tried to express with this. This is one of those very rare moments in my story when that cold and hard "shell" which Aldarian has created around her heart shatters and she shows her true feelings. Which in this case are unfortunately pain, sorrow and despair."
