Coriander shea Detwiler

Coriander is a Child of the Light who loves the Phantom of the Opera.

Hello...Welcome to my neck of the woods...lol. I am a very shy and quiet 18 year old Gemini (which is a paradox if you know Geminis or are one!) who has been an artist for over 13 years, although,ironically, art is not my passion. I love to sing and have been doing so for about 8 years.

My style is musical theatre and, hopefully, someday opera... my dream is to portray Christine in 'Phantom'. As was said before, I am obsessed with Erik (the Phantom of the Opera) and think that he would be a very great man if he were alive today. My art is inspired by him (of course), as well as a myriad assortment of other influences, such as; the Angels, elves, faeries, the Watchers, and fallen angels...or the Nephilim as well as the Finnish symphonic metal band, Nightwish (pure genius, I might add)...

The line between the Light and evil is blurred in my view, for there are so many shades of gray in this world to metaphorically find where one ends and the other begins...thus, that is also a major focus of my art....I sincerely hope that enjoy my gallery...God bless...

Some thoughts and actions may be worse than others , but there are NO thoughts or actions that are both good and bad at the same time in the same way .The talk of so-called "shades of grey" is postmodernist /relativist MTV generation rubbish. Now that I 've explained that...I want to tell you I love your art . The sinous colorful shapes are quite intriguing .
