	This is a drawing I did a couple of years ago, when I was teaching myself to draw with ink. This was my first (but far from last) 'high-fantasy' drawing since I was a kid, BTW. Original 11x17 inches, ink on über-cheap paper.

5 Oct 2002	Silvia Maestre	Loading... This the best one, in my opinion. I love facial expresion, and pose. She's very beautiful. I think blue and pale pink could be suitable colours for it. I really like it, very good job (and first comment dance, of course) Paul Baxter replies: "This is still one of my own faves, too. I don't have much confidence in my abilities to color anything (be it with paint, pencil or 'puter), but I have an accomplice who may be willing to do something with this cutie!"

(and i should know. i play the flute to) Paul Baxter replies: "Yeah, you can tell that she takes her music very seriously! Her belt, BTW, really blows me away. I mean, I drew it, but it still impresses me! Silly, ain't I? Oh well..."

I've attempted to render a flute player before and I found it rather awkward to get just the right position for the hands. Paul Baxter replies: "Thanks a lot. I dunno what to think about this one, though. I just did it as a lark, and now it's just about my most popular piece. The only thing I'd like to do to it is to give her a background. Still, it's a nice pic, ain't it?"
