I've drawn her before, but this is the latest drawing of the vampire Bettis. She is the mad scion of the equally mad -- but far older and more powerful -- vampire lord Brutus Capricus.

She stands before the gate to... Well, it doesn't really matter where this gate leads. Maybe she's waiting for you to come in, or she could be barring you from leaving. What possibility scares you more?

Ink on Bristol board, original 8 1/2 x 11 inches; background done all in Adobe PhotoShop.

It's such a great picture! I love all the details, like the tag on the belt and the navel piercing. The skull gate looks magnificent, too. She looks very vivid and there's such a volume in her body, you are really skilled with ink.
