SciFi and Fantasy Art Heart of Darkness by Paul Baxter

She's an android who has a wish to have a real, human heart, but all she has is... Well, you see it.

This piece was inspired by a song, Robyn Hitchcock's 'Heart Full of Leaves,' but when I got around to putting the leaves in the place of her heart, it looked bad. I did the 'blackheart' in Adobe PhotoShop, something I'm still learning about.

Original: ink and pencil on 20 lb. paper, with some additions in Adobe. 11x17 inches on paper.

Well you the point ^__________________^;; What I want to know is where all the comments are. Paul Baxter replies: "The more I look at this one, the more I detest the background. Since I just drew it in Adobe PhotoShop, I know that I can fix it. Alas, I've had precious little time or energy to do so. Still, glad that you like it."
