SciFi and Fantasy Art On the Brocken by Paul Baxter

This is the second or third time I've thought that I was finished with this piece. There was a version of it up on my old 'Zone' Gallery, but I never much liked that one. I re-drew the whole thing, then fixed what bugged me about it. Now I've put the moon background on in Adobe PhotoShop, and I think that it looks about as good at it'll get.

...Okay, there are still a lot of bits I don't like, but I'll wait a few months before making any rash decisions...

Original 11x17 inches, ink on paper -- background and minor touch-up in Adobe.

I envy your ability to draw a female body, as I'm struggling to draw mine less spindly-limbed and a bit fuller. Only thing I can remark here is that the hands are a bit small. ducks; don't smack me! Apart from that - great work and a pleasant amount of detail, plus an original background =) Paul Baxter replies: "I won't smack you, but I will say that I don't agree. Still, the hands are very delicate, and my inking style uses heavy line, so maybe the hands DO appear small. Hmmmm... maybe I do agree."
