Holy hootenanny, it's been a while!!  Weeeeell, I'm Vicki and I'm 21, living in a tin can somewhere in the depths of hell.  I guess you could also call the tin can a "small apartment" and the depths of hell "Central Illinois" but hey, why quabble of details?

I've had an illicit love affair with writing since I was fourteen years old and wrote an absolutely terrible fanfic involving my friends and I eating magic pizza cheese which gave us powers and aged us five years so we could join the group that 'N Sync and the Backstreet Boys had combined to make.  Scary I know, but hey, I was fourteen.  I like to think my writing has improved and I've branched out to the sci-fi/fantasy genres as favorites.

Recently I engaged in NaNoWriMo (National Novel-Writing Month) and succeeded although my "novel" (Caindale Chronicles) isn't entirely finished.  When it's done, it'll consist of twelve short stories, each one told from the perspective of a different sibling in a family of vampires.  So that's my current project.  Have fun enjoying whatever you can find on my profile

And I don't mean poetry, but beautifully written where I can see it or feel that emotion. The things you write seem so well thought out, even when you aren't writing a story you have poetic writing.
